Pencil

I always start with a sketch. This sketch is good, old pencil and paper

Ink

When I was happy with the pencil work it was time to ink.

This artwork was to be printed on a large canvas so it was necessary to scan it in and color digitally.

This castle needed a bit more whimsy. I worked my digital magic and distorted it in all the right places.

Time to add color. I started by going with a traditional painted look.

This was alright, but I wanted to keep that certain level of whimsy. So I opted for a different color style.

Placed it in a simple scene and called it done.
