Highlighter Heroes: When little ideas become a thing.

I was working at my desk job and was thinking how much I liked superheroes. You know Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and such. I had an urge to draw them. I challenged myself to draw them just from memory. The only products I had around were office supplies. I thought to myself, “Why not use these pencils, pens, and highlighters to see if I can create something cool?” Thus Highlighter Heroes were born.

I had the opportunity a few years back to have a booth at our local Comics/ Pop Culture Convention. I commissioned quite a few of these and drew them while I was there. It was a lot of fun to see peoples reaction as they watched me draw.

I was able to take some photos of my work before I sent these on their way to adorn the walls of other superhero fans.

It just goes to show you, you never know when creativity with strike. That little, silly idea you may get when your bored might just become something.
